Waking up to another sunny day on Cote D’Azur is never wrong; in fact, rather stimulating and motivating for what’s ahead of us!
The car was “ready to go” last night and following some verification on documentation required to be ready for check-in, we headed off to Monte-Carlo. It always strikes me how beautiful the landscape is, green even this time of year with the azure blue ocean reflecting the early spring (?) sun. And looking up at the mountains, we realize they’re topped with snow. Absolutely stunning!
At ACM admin control, we’re met with a smile and very attentive people all through the processing of docs – actually even faster than what we experienced in Bad Homburg last year. Queuing for the tech inspection, we met most of our fellow countrymen starting from Monte-Carlo – a great moment for sharing ideas, experiences and inspecting each other cars!

The tech scrutineering itself was again super-efficient and with no issues whatsoever.

Having completed the mission of the day, we headed for one of the brasseries on Quai Albert 1er, Caffé Milano. We felt privileged enjoying our luncheon overlooking the harbor, listening to the Lamborghinis passing by….
Calling it a day, we returned to the villa in Nice where the team is staying. But for how long was Adam in Paradise…..
On the way back, one of the trip sensors started to black-out and then just said goodbye.
Getting “home” we simply had to start to diagnose the issue, but to no relief – the sensor is gone, and there is no spare available. Except there is, at Bråthen Bil in Norway. Trond will ship overnight to Valence for us to pick-up when we arrive Monday. What a guy - fingers crossed for transportation!

Finally, we packed-up the toolbox and rejoined around the dinner table.
Ready to rumble tomorrow!
