Test run January 27th 2026

Tuesday came with wind and rain. But we trotted off at 8 am, quite happy with things.

SR 7 went ok, demanding but still better than the previous ones. 

SR 8 started above 1.100 msl, a lot of snow, rain and + 1C. Driving in slush is no fun, slippery and slow. So the driver decided to speed up. Want well for a couple of km, but we then came to a full stop. In a ditch, or rather a little river.....

Took us 2,5 hrs of work to get back on the road. Wet, but happy we returned to the hotel for a warm shower and dry clothes! 

The Golf is fine, but my pride a little hurt...

Tomorrow we'll packup and head for Provence (Nice). Looking forward to see the Med again!
