Test run January 29th 2026
Oppdatert: 30. jan.
This morning, the sun returned to the Cote d’Azur - yesterday was really dreadful with rain pouring down.
Following some minor maintenance (a headlight filled with water), we headed off to check out SR 17 and 18.
The first one takes us over Col de Turini; normally offering unpredictable conditions at 1.600 msl. And today was one of those days; started off with dry surfaces, but as we climbed up above 1.300 msl we got icy roads and finally snow!
As we passed the peak, we turned towards Peira Cava – and got the taste of winter! A lot of snow and very variable conditions – really fun. But hard to keep up with the indicated average speed.
Getting to SR 18 was no problem really, but again – the speed is way above any realistic ambition under these conditions. SR 18 was quite enjoyable, although challenging – pretty tough track, but no snow and as such ok and predictable.
Following a lunch halt, we took another run through both stages completing some 350 km+ today. All seems to be ok, but tomorrow we’ll do some maintenance on wheels, brakes and sensors to prepare for a final testrun.
Scrutineering takes place on Saturday, and we’d like everything to be checked (and re-checked) by then

Looks great and challenging. Good luck, will follow you
